Ginza Yamanobe 銀座やまの辺 2nd visit — love the Matsutake & Shanghai crab season! The Matsutake consommé was super concentrated, even better than eating the mushroom. Hairy crab roe and fukahire was an indulgent combination which hits the spot. Finally the 30-year Shanghai Hi-story was probably the best Shaoxing wine I’ve ever had, almost like a well balanced Oloroso. •

Ginza Yamanobe Edo Chuuka 銀座 やまの辺 江戸中華 1st visit — a luxurious meal loaded with expensive ingredients. Some classic Chinese dishes and some innovative twists. Overall style and taste are more catered to Japanese palate but a very satisfying meal nonetheless. Chef and staff are all very friendly, loved the braised fukahire & awabi dish.

Overall style and taste are more catered to Japanese palate but a very satisfying meal nonetheless. Chef and staff are all very friendly, loved the braised fukahire & awabi dish.
