Recommended bowl: Creamy chicken star

One of the higher ranked shops in Osaka, serving tori paitan soup made with extra amounts of cartilage and skin. Shoyu tare and katsuo oil, served with chewy housemade noodles. The soup is smooth and creamy, but not overly rich. Open from 11am until the soup runs out, usually by 3pm. Expect to wait in line.
