Third visit but still love the concept of dark room and light room. The quality of food, drinks and wine is outstanding. I really understand why this is one of the hottest spots around the globe for dining. It is not easy to get a table but once you enter This amazing kitchen restaurant, you will enjoy a typical van South African atmosphere with outstanding food and wine which would easily survive in Europe with the same concept. One of the most interesting parts at this restaurant is that they not only serve different kind of wine pairings, they also serve an exceptional tea paring which I have not seen around the globe so far. Compared with all the juices, beer and nonalcoholic pairings you get in Europe it combines food and they’re really delicious dishes much more and you do not have the feeling that you have to Menüs at the same time. As this place was highly recommended by a lot of international bloggers, I really thought I have to go there. After we have checked the menu, select basically every course on the menu, we tried to figure out why this location is hyped so much. OK, it is in Central, the quality of the food was fine, but you will find hundreds of restaurants in Europe with the same style and quality. Maybe that is the reason. The service and hosts are really great, but the food was disappointing for me. And also the wine list was the same like all over Asia - labels, no really good stuff. Less
