Tokyo takes pizza very seriously. Been wanting to try all the spots here but couldn’t quite fit them all in! Neapolitan style seems to be the thing here. Deliciously fluffy, chewy dough, cooked at high heat for those puffy, leopard spotted crusts and a nicely browned undercarriage. That’s what to expect at Savoy. Only two types on the menu. Because of a mix up with the reservation we ended up in Savoy ( Azubujuban branch). They offer there the more exotic version of their pizzas which we naturally ordered.
The dough is the same, super high heat and very short time on the oven. The crust is doughy and crispy at the same time, the beef and the tuna topping tested actually very well. Not that it will be standard going forward, but still a very delicious experience.
