Taiwanese fried chicken in Soho!!

Wow, if your looking for incredible fried chicken in London, check this out!! Serving freshly cooked Taiwanese fried chicken, i ordered the king, fried chicken breast with salt and pepper seasoning, fried chicken legs and french fries with wasabi powder. Its definitely some of the best fried chicken it had in London. And their bubble tea is excellent too. Well worth checking out

Back in my favourite china town, this time it's the wonderful new young cheng. New Young Cheng is committed to innovative and healthier Cantonese style food. Serving the classics to delicious roasted meats, king scallops and whole lobsters. The menu champions Cantonese dishes. I ordered the appetiser sharing platter, which was excellent, vegetable spring rolls, chicken satay, sesame prawn toast, bbq ribs, sweet crispy seaweed and chicken dumplings.
For mains my favourite Chinese dish, 3 roasted meats with egg fried rice. The crispy pork belly was delicious, great duck and roast pork. Was to full to eat dessert!!! Id 100% recommend this restaurant, its really popular for a reason

If you're looking for a fantastic family run Italian pasta bar, look no further. Fast, fresh, and full of flavour. Their handmade pasta is served up in minutes, paired with great drinks and even better vibes. Whether you're after a quick lunch, or a late-night fix (their open ‘til 1 AM on weekends).
Love the restaurant, feels like your in someone's living room. The staff a incredibly friendly, i was having lunch on my own and they made me feel very comfortable. Great for solo lunch! I started with an Aperol spritz and Cacio e Pepe Arancini, Parmesan Cream Crispy risotto balls, creamy Parmesan sauce. Such a good starter!! For mains Mafalda Beef Ragu, beef, slow-cooked in red wine Tender beef in a rich red wine sauce, probably the best ragu I've had in London so far and i love the mafalda pasta. For dessert, Sweet Gnocchi filled with Pistachio paste, Warm and fluffy and very delicious. Overall i love my lunch, would 100% recommend checking it out!

What a perfect Sunday in Victoria Park, great lunch at the Lauriston pub, a walk around the park, the Sunday food market and and boat trip around the lake. What could be better???
I love this pub, its got everything! Great beers, fantastic cocktails and incredible pizza. We started off with some bar snacks, olives, fries and a beautiful little roll filled with mozzarella, salami and mortadella. Good start. Next, fleshy rolled and cooked in fire pizza's. Goats cheese, pine nuts, green olives,red onion, fior di latte. Cotton ham, salami and chorizo or smoked pancetta, mushroom and chilli. The pizza's are fantastic, and the home made dips are just as good, especially the nduja mayonnaise. For dessert a classic tiramisu and a Nutella pizza with fresh strawberries, both delicious.

Alex Kim, culinary director at Five Sails restaurants and current Canadian Culinary Champion doesn’t rest on laurels and he doesn’t park his culinary skills on a plateau. It seems to me, with every visit, he’s hoisted himself to another level. Upon experiencing his current spring tasting menu, well, he’s done it again. It’s a complete wow!
The menu is part of a seasonal series called The Altitude, inspired by a visit to Peru, and I’d guess, Central restaurant in Lima. There, one of the world’s top chefs, Virgilio Martinez, creates menus guiding diners, vertically, through various Peruvian ecosystems starting from sea level and ending in the Andes. His restaurant is a regular on the World’s 50 Best Restaurant, and it took top spot in 2023. I have visited this famous restaurant in Lima and was gob-smacked by the depth of research, scientific and culinary, through all the country’s ecosystems and by the exotic ingredients.
But, were I forced to vote on which restaurant gave me the most pleasure and excitement in the mouth, I would give it to Kim’s Pacific Northwest Altitude menu for the sensual flavours, gorgeous visuals, playful inventiveness and creative agility. The dishes journey below sea level, to shore, then elevate inland and upward. Out of the gate, his famous oyster tartlet has a shell so real, you must command your teeth to bite. At alpine level, wild berries, spruce tips, and wildflowers feel like a fresh, cool mountain breeze.
Dishes on tasting menus rarely hit home runs with every course but Kim pretty much did. Only one dish felt less than perfect — it dazzled with flavour and technique but was visually overwhelmingly white and pale — a silken rice and almond coverlet hid a couple of chicken surprises underneath, where some pops of colour would have clinched it. Overall, though, what an impressive choreography of story, taste, sight, and talent.
