It was an a16 weekend! Sunday we drove up to the new a16 Napa, where we had the charcuterie platter, octopus, beans, pasta, and about every dessert on the menu. That was after going to the farmers market on Saturday and enjoying a chicken and artichoke Panini at the a16 stall inside the Ferry Building.

I loved my lunch at Okane, which I think is an overlooked and underappreciated restaurant.

For $89 Azalina Eusope of Azalina’s creates a five course menu filled with flavor combinations you may never have tasted unless you’re intimately familiar with Malaysian food. The menu changes monthly and I cannot wait to go back next month!

I’m happy to have La Connessa, a destination restaurant with a beautiful interior, in my Potrero Hill neighborhood! It’s a top choice for pizza, pasta (especially the lemon spaghetti), and main courses, such as chicken al mattone.

A great way to spend the Fourth of July and my birthday weekend: at HK Lounge Bistro with some of their popular small dishes and lobster noodles.

For my birthday, I went to Copra where I loved the dosa, fried chicken, shrimp, and chicken curry.
