Considered by many to be the best ramen shop in Shizuoka Prefecture, Mensōshin in Shimada. The shop has a number of staff that manage the operation, headed by master Suzuki-san, who graduated from the Yamato Noodle School. Various types of ramen are on the menu, including a classic shoyu, marudori shoyu, tsukemen and specials. All ingredients used are sourced locally, noodles house-made on a Yamato noodle machine of course. Open from 9am-2pm. Since 2010.
