In Tokyo, even though there are a lot of tempura shops, many of the "famous" places tend to be a bit disappointing for me. This is a shop that does a good job in ticking all the boxes for me. Nice balance of texture, oil and batter.. Good temperature and variety of tempuras being offered. The ayu was delicious and my benchmark kisu was spot on..
