This is a restaurant I had saved for a while, hoping to visit someday. I was treated to a meal here for my birthday. Since it was described as classic French cuisine, I felt a bit apprehensive at first, but the atmosphere was warm and inviting, allowing me to enjoy my meal without feeling tense. The dishes were absolutely wonderful! The vichyssoise was delicious, but the corn mousse topped with sea urchin, the low-temperature cooked biwa trout, and the anago (conger eel) with foie gras were all so exquisite that I wondered if they could be considered main dishes. The white sweet sea bream was tasty as well, but the Chita beef was outstanding! The flavor of the meat burst in my mouth with each bite; it had a nice chew yet was tender. I had requested a lighter dessert in advance. I was delighted to receive a chocolate plate for my birthday. I really appreciate restaurants like this that help you relax. We had a great time discussing the ingredients and enjoyed a lovely moment together. It's not a place I can visit often, but I definitely want to come back! Less

I believe that the essence of classical French cuisine lies in good ingredients combined with unique sauces, and Chef Nishino, who previously worked in a restaurant in the South of France, brings a touch of that southern French flair to every dish.During the appetizers, we were treated to the now-traditional salad of live Brittany Blue Lobster, which was cooked to perfection and simply exquisite. The main dish, the abalone pie, offered an irresistible combination of the fresh scent of the ocean and the rich aroma of French butter. For the meat course, we enjoyed lean Irish beef with mustard sauce. And to conclude, we were delighted by a selection of desserts crafted by his wife, the pastry chef. Each dessert was the perfect finale to the meal. All participants were thoroughly satisfied! I look forward to enjoying these dishes again in a different season. Less

Mas de Lavande ~Indulge in Luxurious French Cuisine This Summer~ On this day, I was surrounded by a lively group of friends, so much so that I forgot to take photos of the dishes. We were too busy eating and chatting, making for a delightful experience! I enjoyed a long-awaited course featuring abalone pie and lobster. First, we had a smooth vichyssoise paired with lobster jelly and sea urchin. The gentle sweetness of the potatoes beautifully complemented the ocean's umami, making for a refreshing start to the summer. Next, the cheese-flavored choux pastry was perfectly baked, with a toasty and light texture that heightened our appetite. The biwa trout with caviar and crème fraîche was exquisite, with the rich fat of the trout harmonizing perfectly with the saltiness and acidity, allowing us to fully savor the deliciousness of the ingredients. Then came the star of the show, the live lobster that had just been prepared. Its impressive appearance elicited gasps of excitement! The lobster meat, finished with summer vegetables, was astonishingly plump. With each bite, the rich sweetness and umami spread across my palate, showcasing its incredible freshness. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the baked abalone and truffle pie. The moment of breaking into the crispy, fragrant pastry was a performance in itself, revealing a generous portion of seasonal abalone inside. With its substantial thickness, this luxurious dish allowed us to fully enjoy the pleasant texture of the abalone. Each bite released the umami of the abalone, perfectly harmonizing with the rich aroma of truffles and the decadent sauce. The portion was ample, providing a satisfying experience worthy of this restaurant's specialty. For the main course, we had Irish beef. The grass-fed red meat was surprisingly tender, and with each bite, the natural flavors of the meat unfolded. The rich butter sauce enhanced the deliciousness of the red meat, making it enjoyable until the very last bite. We concluded with a refreshing melon sorbet for dessert, followed by a leisurely time enjoying herbal tea and baked sweets. The quality of the ingredients was exceptional, and each dish was infused with seasonal flair and elegant presentation, making this renowned restaurant a perfect choice for a memorable special occasion. Thank you so much! It was a great meal. Less

They are sweet and delicious. The sauce has a refreshing citrus note with a slightly sweet base and grainy mustard.Foie Gras with Beets and Apple. This combination evokes the sensation of eating blood sausage, with the accent of apple and the sweetness of roasted beets. It’s utterly delightful, and it pairs perfectly with red wine.Sweetfish with Coconut, Homemade Oil, and Turnip.Once again, the vegetables are incredibly tasty.Chita Beef, Top Blade, Supreme, and Mashed Jerusalem Artichoke. The dessert service was also perfect.I had a wonderful alternative fruit option. Moreover, the service from Madame was pleasant and attentive, captivating everyone who visits. I hadn't been able to visit in June, so I was excited to come back after a while! This time, I was thrilled to enjoy the abalone in puff pastry, which I look forward to every year. First, I had a cold soup made with beets and figs, along with a tart of tuna tartare and avocado mousse. It felt like summer had arrived—so delicious that I couldn't help but exclaim! Next, I enjoyed a dish served in a sea urchin shell with corn mousse, sea urchin, and consomme jelly. Yum! Then came the langoustine with... More

Next, I enjoyed a dish served in a sea urchin shell with corn mousse, sea urchin, and consomme jelly. Yum! Then came the langoustine with various vegetables. A friend who isn’t particularly fond of shrimp said, "I like this shrimp!" It seems they really enjoy the shrimp dishes served here. I must say, I love this seasoning too. Finally, the much-anticipated abalone arrived! It was large and packed with truffles. The accompanying girolle mushrooms were also delicious. I couldn't resist taking pictures of its cross-section and back view! For the main course, we had pigeon from France, which was tender with an indescribable texture, served with a sauce of sun-dried tomatoes and tarragon, along with potato gnocchi. The pigeon thigh had a firm bite and was incredibly tasty! I was already full, but the Yubari melon jelly was refreshingly sweet and slid right down. I even enjoyed coffee and petit fours—ah, I was completely satisfied and full. It was a great meal! Less
