This is a restaurant I had saved for a while, hoping to visit someday. I was treated to a meal here for my birthday. Since it was described as classic French cuisine, I felt a bit apprehensive at first, but the atmosphere was warm and inviting, allowing me to enjoy my meal without feeling tense. The dishes were absolutely wonderful! The vichyssoise was delicious, but the corn mousse topped with sea urchin, the low-temperature cooked biwa trout, and the anago (conger eel) with foie gras were all so exquisite that I wondered if they could be considered main dishes. The white sweet sea bream was tasty as well, but the Chita beef was outstanding! The flavor of the meat burst in my mouth with each bite; it had a nice chew yet was tender. I had requested a lighter dessert in advance. I was delighted to receive a chocolate plate for my birthday. I really appreciate restaurants like this that help you relax. We had a great time discussing the ingredients and enjoyed a lovely moment together. It's not a place I can visit often, but I definitely want to come back!
