I was completely amazed by how delicious everything was! I was shocked to find such incredible quality at this price. The presentation about the dishes, ingredients, and producers was also very informative, making for a truly satisfying lunch. I was particularly impressed by the salad, the flatfish, the Japanese seabass, the venison, and the melon dessert. However, the dish that resembled pasta made with squid, paired with a truffle sauce, was shockingly delicious. It's a shame that I can't visit... More

According to Chef Nakado, he is currently considering combinations with ingredients from other regions to enhance the charm of Hiroshima's produce. I look forward to experiencing new local dishes on my next visit. They sometimes offer game meats such as venison and wild boar, and I appreciate that they measure the internal temperature of the meat while cooking. It’s great to see a focus on both flavor and safety. Here are the dishes served today:1. Skate, potato, and truffle croquettes2. Salad with microgreens from Kitahiroshima3. Tiger fish with junsai and citrus jelly4. Red sea urchin with eggplant and kombu5. Abalone with maitake mushrooms—this dish appears simple but exceeds expectations in flavor6. Freshly baked bread7. Hamo (pike eel) from Setouchi with consomme8. Chef Nakado's specialty, squid cut into thin strips resembling pasta, served with white wine sauce and truffle9. Isaki (grunt fish) with purple asparagus and coquillage10. Wild boar fillet with fromage de tête11. Octopus rice with bouillabaisse12. Three types of dessert and tea: - Ice cream with Japanese pepper - Melon grand dessert - Canelé Less

With 6 counter seats and private rooms, diners can watch Chef Nakado prepare dishes right in front of them, creating an engaging experience enhanced by his stories. The staff is friendly, making it a comfortable place even for first-time visitors ✨I made a reservation for lunch on a weekday, and despite it being daytime, the restaurant was fully booked. The menu offers only the "Lunch Course for JPY 16,500." Dishes made with local ingredients from Hiroshima and the Setouchi region blend classic French cuisine with modern flavors, resulting in both beautiful presentation and delicious taste ✨. Chef Nakado's adventurous dishes kept me eagerly anticipating what would come next as I enjoyed each course. The most shocking dish of the course was the "Clay Pot Rice - Anago Rice Cooked in Bouillabaisse." The sweetness of the anago (conger eel) stood out beautifully amidst the rich flavors of the bouillabaisse, making it incredibly delicious ✨. Simply outstanding ⭐️This course, including drinks, is under JPY 20,000… a great value! I now understand why NAKADO is synonymous with French cuisine in Hiroshima. It was a great meal ✨【Conclusion】If you're looking for French cuisine in Hiroshima City, this is the place! Today, we wrapped up our trip to Hiroshima here.I enjoyed my meal at the counter. This restaurant serves delicious French cuisine using local ingredients from Hiroshima. The presentation was beautiful, the food was tasty, and both the chef and staff created a warm, homey atmosphere that felt refreshingly different from typical French dining. I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try!
I visited this place for the first time since going to Namiki Street. It's a fusion of Japanese and French cuisine, and the attention to detail in the ingredients, cooking methods, and seasonings is incredible! Next time, I want to come in the evening and enjoy some wine. It might be an understatement, but it's absolutely delicious! I will definitely come back.
