Recently I often find myself going to the middle of nowhere with no other reason than to satisfy my gluttony. This place is no exception, but spectacular service and superb food makes this a place well worth the effort. Recently I often find myself going to the middle of nowhere with no other reason than to satisfy my gluttony. This place is no exception, but spectacular service and superb food makes this a place well worth the effort. Outstanding ingredients and preparation, with a setting which in itself was thought-provoking. Off-season crab, inspiring shrooms and unexpected ayu were all part of the fun. Well worth the journey down south and to enjoy the nearby onsen. Recommendation though, don't try to walk back.
