One of the most well known Szechuan places in Tokyo. The restaurant does not have many small tables and as we were in a group of 8, we were able to get one of the cozy rooms. Can't remember exactly which alcoholic person opted for this 2018 Moutai, which was essentially undrinkable... i like certain high proof alcohols but this is one I still don't fully understand.

The food was a bit up and down. The sea cucumber dish was perhaps the most balanced dish but all the sauce tasted the same after a while. The issue with a lot of Chinese restaurants in Tokyo is that the prices are obscene and the quality is usually comparable to a mid-level eatery in HK.

Strangely, even though we ordered the Moutai at the restaurant, the staff refused to pour it for us in case he spilt any of it... 🤔

Choyo 趙楊 1st visit — Szechuan cuisine, most dishes are quite authentic and tasty though some of them were prepared with very similar sauce. Loved the drunken crab, twice cooked pork and Mapo tofu. •
