I’ve been to all the so-called "difficult-to-reserve restaurants" in Nagoya, but this place is the real deal. Those who have been coming here for a long time truly have great taste. If only I had started my gourmet journey sooner...But wishing won’t help me secure a reservation, so if you can get in, I’d love to be invited! ♪I was thrilled to have the "Water Eggplant Spring Rolls" again, which had left a lasting impression on me three years ago.The "Bonito with Onion" comes with a hidden aioli sauce. It was unbelievably delicious! I knew bonito and garlic would pair well, but the balance of flavors was exceptional. The "Fig with Miso" seems to be a classic menu item at Yoshii, but it was my first time trying it. The chewy texture combined with the juiciness of the figs made it absolutely delightful.Thank you for the wonderful meal.---------------------------------Omakase Course【Appetizer】 Hamo Sushi【Fried Dish】 Water Eggplant and Salt Kombu Spring Rolls【Seasonal Side Dish】 Horse Mackerel with Grated Summer Turnip【Soup】 Hamo and New Lotus Root Dumpling with Kintoki Greens【Sashimi】 Flatfish and Whelk【Main Dish】 Bonito with Onion and Aioli Sauce【Grilled Dish】 Fried Sawara with New Ginkgo Nuts【Salad】 Fig with Miso and Sesame【Rice Dish】 Rice with New Ginger and Sweet Shrimp Pickles and Miso Soup【Dessert】 Black Honey Agar Jelly---------------------------------*For ramen and B-class gourmet, a rating of 4.5 is the maximum.▪️Restaurant Ratings 4.0-4.5: Generally delicious or satisfactory for the cost 4.6 and above: Extremely delicious or more satisfying than the cost▪️Ramen Ratings 3.7 and above: Delicious 3.9 and above: A must-try▪️B-Class Ratings Focused on cost performance Below 3.4: ... After about 8 months, I finally visited my favorite restaurant in Japan again. This time, I came with four friends. The atmosphere remains unchanged, with the chef quietly dedicated to his cooking and the warm presence of the owner, which always brings me comfort. On this day, I was able to enjoy dishes that showcased the summer ingredients typical of Yoshii. The menu included:- Hamo Sushi - Spring Rolls with Water Eggplant and Salted Kombu - Hamo Soup with New Lotus Root Dumplings - Clams and Spicy... At first glance, the dishes appear simple and unadorned, resembling ordinary food, but once you taste them, their delicate flavors captivate your heart.Of course, the use of top-quality ingredients plays a role, but there’s something inexplicably wonderful about these dishes that goes beyond that.Even the grilled items are not cooked over charcoal, yet they evoke more emotion than those cooked over an open flame.Dining here makes it clear that the food from other restaurants I thought was delicious is on a completely different level.I know my next visit will be quite a while from now, but this is a place I want to keep coming back to. It was a great meal.Review posted by "Instagram@_1show". Thank you for reading to the end. I appreciate all your likes, follows, and saves for the restaurant. Less
