For roast chicken, I only go to one place. The hour-long wait for this dish to be prepared is well worth it. It’s the must order. The most hearty, rich, flavourful and addictive chicken sauce, consisting mainly of shallots, chicken stock, morels, Vin Jaune white wine and plenty of butter. Just the right consistency, not too thick, not too thin. So tasty and moreish. Very comforting. The chicken, rice and sauce all work together so well. The wine list here is great so make sure you have a look - I went for a really lovely Chablis from Domain Elini & Edouard, worked so nicely with this plate. Always a lovely meal! Their chicken liver parfait choux buns are the best in the game too. #notoriousfoodie 🙅🏽‍♂️
