One of my favourite new openings this year. The chef trained several well-known places before opening this in April in Kyoto. Stunning restaurant interior with only 8 seats at the counter plus table seating for 8. Blurred line between Spanish, Japanese and 'modern' cuisine, but ultimately its the precise execution and flavours that make this place worth the visit.

2021年の私のお気に入りの新しいレストランの1つ。シェフは東京の「Edition Koji Shimomura」と神戸の「Ca'Sento」で働いた後、4月に自分の店をオープンしました。 場所のデザインはミニマルで美しく、とても落ち着いた雰囲気です。 非常に正確な料理で風味豊かな料理がたくさんあります-私はそれを本当に楽しんだ！

Koke 1st visit — a new innovative restaurant in Kyoto with Spanish influence. Beautiful space reminiscent of the new Aca1 in Tokyo. Great service and accommodating staff. The dishes were original and well executed. Loved the green pee with soy custard, boiled cabbage and the final tomato congee/risotto, which reminded me of gumbo. Great potential. •
