A few of my favourite bites from lunch the other day. This bistro in jumeirah serves up a number of small and medium-sized plates - everything from their beautiful pide and adobo chicken wings, to the caviar bun and Wagyu gyoza. For me the star dish has to be those adobo wings. Unreal - stuffed with rice and licked with a sweet umami glaze, topped with sesame, chives and puffed rice. These things are delicious... More

A few of my favourite bites from lunch the other day. This bistro in jumeirah serves up a number of small and medium-sized plates - everything from their beautiful pide and adobo chicken wings, to the caviar bun and Wagyu gyoza. For me the star dish has to be those adobo wings. Unreal - stuffed with rice and licked with a sweet umami glaze, topped with sesame, chives and puffed rice. These things are delicious - perfectly charred and with the bone removed for easy eating. The burger here is great too - minced Wagyu, Hokkaido milk bun, caramelised onions, cheddar, OB sauce. Unctuous and flavoursome, stupidly juicy with a nice sweetness. Caviar bun speaks for itself, but that pide! Damn. The dough is fermented for 5 days - nice leopard spots and topped with burnt leeks, stracciatella, brown butter miso, hazelnuts, chives and black truffle. A lovely chew and a creamy, fragrant bite. Itโs a big menu so go hungry and try a few bits. Wings and burger are a must #notoriousfoodie ๐
