Last weekend, ahead of the “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025” by @theworlds50best, @narangseoul hosted a special outdoor spring picnic with women in the culinary industry✨ This time, instead of chefs, the spotlight was on those who usually write about, promote, or market food - giving them the chance to create and serve their own dishes!🧑‍🍳

The star of the event? “Gimbap” - but with a twist!🌈 Traditionally a Korean dish of rice and fillings wrapped in seaweed, the picnic reimagined gimbap through a global lens🌏 Guests from Copenhagen, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Seoul crafted unique versions inspired by flavours from their own cities, proving that gimbap doesn’t have to follow just one rule👑 Huge congratulations to the organisers for such a successful event!🌼
