Restaurant Zén was such a great experience that I ran out of superlatives. I love this kind of fine dining - unabashedly modern, without sacrificing quality and style. Reminds me a lot of why I fell in love with Saison years back. Not posting too much of the food to keep it a surprise, but everything I ate was basically perfect. Outstanding, smart pairings. Brilliantly cool staff. I left after 5.5 hours only because jet lag was kicking my ass. Also, I don’t believe in God, but I do believe in Zén waffles and wild strawberries. Go now, before it’s impossible to get in and they get all the international accolades.
