It’s been a long time since we’ve been in Fukuoka and our first meal here was a revisit to @goh_f - currently #45 on Asia’s 50 Best. The restaurant relocated in 2023 to a swanky new building which is also home to @gohganfuk - the chef’s collaboration restaurant with @gaggan_anand. With the new space, there’s been a shift in concept with a single communal table of 10 seats which is meant to encourage guests to interact with each other. Located on the 3rd floor, the dining room also offers views into the open kitchen and of the canal through its expansive windows. Favorites of the meal included the signature abalone with shiitake, uni with potato, duck soba, and soufflé with strawberry.
