Best seats in the house here gotta be at the counter. A little warm in front of the woodfire ovens but you get a good glimpse into everything being made and can see all the fresh produce on display. A mix of super seasonal Italian fare on the daily rotating menu here. Had lots of highlights this visit, but to start it was their rosemary and fresh mozz pizza (which I had to make at home the next day in the @gozney - will post it up soon). Ultra thin pizza, with just EVOO, rosemary, mozz and sea salt - simple, fresh and beautifully cooked with a crispy, supple, well seasoned base. The beef carne cruda with horseradish and tomato was a great looking plate too - some more salt and acid would be welcomed though. Prosciutto and melon was great, perfectly ripe and super juicy! For mains, the cacio e Pepe and their veal ragu with fettuccine. Both pastas carefully cooked with super flavoursome sauces clinging to the chewy pasta. Good to see and taste lots of black pepper in the cacio. For dessert I ordered a bunch of stuff but they sent out the most insane fig and Marsala ice cream - loved this one the most. Too good. Third visit to @canteen.310 and it is impressive. The quality is maintaining, potentially even getting better. One of London’s few good Italian restaurants. Green pappardelle with tomatoes was excellent / mezze maniche with sausage ragu was so outstanding we ordered it twice - one of the best pastas I’ve ever had in London / mozzarella, rosemary and sea salt pizza / stuffed peppers, anchovy and olives was overpriced and fairly average / nice rosemary farinata / a great lemon tart / amaretti / focaccia and olive oil. #foodinlondon #canteen #canteen310 Less

Delicious Italian food at @canteen.310 from ex River Cafe chef @jessicafilbey. I went in opening week but this recent meal was far superior. Justifiably busy and popular. Rigatoni with a very good short rib ragu / rigatoni with cacio e pepe and langoustines (excellent) / tagliarini with clams 👌🏽 / mackerel with agretti, lemon and olives👍🏽 / pizza / mozzarella with cime di rapa and anchovy / radicchio with pomegranate and walnuts / goat’s curd, lemon and herb ravioli / great light chocolate mousse / panna cotta 👍🏽 (thick and creamy) / morello cherry tart / menu Less
