Going back through older photos and realized I never shared this lovely dinner at @giovedirestaurant in Chinatown.

Giovedi focuses on a menu built around Italian foundations with Asian influences, a combination that sets it apart within Honolulu’s dining scene. The space is lively without feeling overwhelming, and it fits naturally into the energy of Chinatown.

Since opening, the restaurant has received a fair amount of attention, including recognition from Bon Appétit and local nods through the Hale ʻAina Awards, which put it on many people’s lists.

For us, it was a relaxed night out with delicious food, drinks, and conversation, the kind of meal that is perfect for sharing.
