Recommended bowl: Jiro Style

The master of Momijiya previously worked as the manager of the shop Fujimaru in Kita-Urawa, a well known spot amongst Jiro lovers. Sure enough, the style here is Jiro inspired, with tonkotsu-shoyu soup, and free vegetables, garlic, and abura toppings available. The noodles are house-made, wavy and flat. The master doesn't use the timer when he boils the noodles; he just checks them by hand. Located in a residential area, a bit off the beaten path. Note that the 'mini sized' ramen here still comes with 200g of noodles. So unless you have a large appetite, go with the mini option. Open since 2010.
