Recommended bowl: Legit Chūka style

This Chinese style restaurant and ramen shop has somewhat of a cult following, and always full of regular customers. There is a full selection of noodle and rice dishes on the menu, as well as sides and appetizers. The recommended 'Gomoku Umani Soba' comes with a soup base made from chicken bones and various toppings such as cabbage, carrots, quail eggs, pork and wood ear mushrooms. Noodles are supplied by Kanno Seimen. Other popular dishes like chilled 'Negi Soba' and Sūratanmen (think Chinese style hot and sour soup with noodles) are also recommended. Run by master Hasegawa-san, along with his younger brother and sister-in-law. Open since 1991.
