Recommended bowl: Kagoshima's finest

Kagoshima style tonkotsu soup is made from pig heads. The soup has a medium depth to it, and not too heavy like many other tonkotsu styles. Special-ordered noodles, pork chashu, green negi, and free daikon pickles on the counter as is customary in Kagoshima. The head shop is located in Aira City, Kagoshima prefecture, opened in 1960, by master Ikeda-san. This is the second and only other branch, opened in Kanda, Tokyo, on March 10th, 2020.
