Recommended bowl: Rich miso tsukemen

This popular stop is known for a flavorful miso tsukemen, highlighted by a rich broth that carries a hint of spice. Two chicken and pork soups of different viscosity are heated at different temperatures, then combined in a wok into one soup before serving. Other ingredients include miso tare, chili oil and some Chinese spices. Noodles are provided by local purveyor Teigaku. Ramen also on the menu, but tsukemen is recommended and ordered by most customers. Run by master Kubota-san, open since 2007.
