Recommended bowl: Shio chashu destination

A very highly ranked shop for shio ramen, open since 2001 and run by a husband and wife team. People come from far and wide to eat here, thus there is often a line. Shio chashumen and shio wontonmen are the two most-ordered items, but there are some other bowls on the menu too, like white and red miso ramen. The soup is made from Fukushima ‘Date-dori’ chickens, a special breed. The shop kind of looks and feels like a house, with a homey and rustic vibe.
