Master Kiyuna-san previously worked as a hotel chef before taking over this shop from his parents, who are the original masters and founders. Rustic looking from the outside, the ordering system inside is as high-tech as it gets. The touch screen vending machine has the menu written in both Japanese and English. The soup here is katsuo-based with no MSG, but the real draw are the multiple varieties of house-made noodles. Aside from your standard Okinawa style noodles, they offer purple noodles made with beni imo (purple sweet potato) or green noodles containing yomogi (mugwort).
