Best thing I ate in Philly this trip … These tacos, and the one particularly on the right. The slow-cooked lamb stomach pancita from @southphillybarbacoa_ , which is set up at the front of a restaurant called Casa Mexico.

For all the hype this place gets, I guess I was expecting something boojier. But the room felt like a neighborhood spot through and through, except for the people hacking up the barbacoa meat in an agave leaf. The pancita was super spicy with chiles and even more flavorful than the lamb barbacoa. I haven’t had Mexican food this good in awhile. It was one of the most memorable tacos I’ve had in the past several years.
