Recommended bowl: A Shibuya legend

Located in the heart of Shibuya and open since 1952, this shop has remained somewhat of a relic amongst the bustling metropolis that has sprouted up around it. The current master Hayashi-san took the reins from his father, the original master, and has now been running the shop for five decades. The bowls here are old-school Tokyo-style shoyu ramen with dried onions. Noodles are ordered via the same maker in Eifukucho for over 20 years.
