Wilson’s, in my last post, is a pretty handy lunch stop if like me you are heading to ⭐️🍀 @osiprestaurant via train. Actually I am posting my last two meals at Osip. I was lucky enough to visit @merlin_johnson before he moved from the high street in Bruton to Osip’s new home, now situated more rurally, in a stunningly renovated former pub that retains the minimalistic elegance of the original. I was also lucky to be able to return for lunch at his new location (easily doable via train from London by the way, I was back in time for dinner) Forward-thinking chef Merlin Labron-Johnson and his enthusiastic team are passionate about their farm-to-table ethos, with the tasting menu showcasing an array of home-grown and locally sourced produce.
