A truly impressive meal not only for the food but the service and especially the wine service by sommelier Tomas Carreira. An inspiring meal made with flawless execution. Fascinating dinner last night at @sushi_nishinokaze in the hands of owner Julien Doan and chef Vincent Gee. This 8-seat Edomae omakase sushiya is an impressive newcomer to the Montreal restaurant scene serving wild fish and seafood, some local, but most imported from Japan. A beautiful display of mastered technique and taste. Very expensive, but a truly unique experience. A feast for the eyes and the senses. Incredible sake and wine selection too.
