As you would expect from The Grand Gelinaz! Shuffle, it’s not a regular dinner, but “a gig, a performance, a happening, an experiment, a blind date”, bringing together 130 chefs around the world, today, dec3rd., for an unique event.
This year the theme was “Silent voices”, those chefs and restaurants that are locked down, in-between or just mute, due the pandemic.
At @RestauranteBelcanto @joseavillez invited local chefs @vascocoelhosantos (Euskalduna) @antoniogalapito (Prado), @antonio.antlou (A Cozinha), @chefantonionobre (Degust'AR), @diogorocha.dr (Mesa de Lemos), @noeliajeronimo71 (Noélia e Jerónimo), @pedropenabastos (Cura) @castelorodrigo (Taberna ao Balcão) and @davidrdjesus to orchestrate a remix of recipes and ideas from an undisclosed chef (which turned out to be French chef with Vietnamese roots, @celine_pham_ )… and what a huge performance it was! An excellent moment of inspired experimentation, cammaderie, playfulness and professionalism. Many congrats to all involved!
