Tim Raue- Berlin
Well composed Asian inspired food concept, at the two Michelin Star restaurant in Berlin
The restaurant is lacking of any posh attitude, the settings and atmosphere is very friendly and casual, the staff is efficient.
They have wide variety of different menus to choose from:
Lunch menu, the signature menu with 6 courses, the 8 course menu, vegetarian menu for lunch and dinner and the full a’la carte menu.
We chose the 8 course tasting menu with the additional pecking duck and Krug Grande Cuvee for welcome drink
From start to finish we have enjoyed our dinner, each course had some surprising twist, some new and for us unknown ingredients.
Our firm favorites among all plates were the Ikarimi salmon, suckling pig with dashi and ginger and the Peking duck
The lady who served us recommended a really good German rose wine and a Grand cru Hengst gewurztraminer. Both were perfect additions to our perfect dining experience.
