After visiting Torisho Ishii, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to visit this location for the first time. It’s situated in a quiet area, quite a distance from Azabu-Juban Station. The restaurant operates with two dinner seatings and offers private rooms. The L-shaped counter has a decent number of seats and features a clean, inviting interior.The clientele includes food enthusiasts, as well as those dressed in high-end brands who prefer to dine quickly, along with inbound tourist groups, giving it a distinct Minato Ward vibe. The staff is plentiful, and the service is attentive.The course priced at JPY 15,000 includes 9 skewers and about 4 additional dishes, including a rice dish to finish. Similar to the main branch, the portion sizes of the skewers are not large, making the overall volume of the course feel somewhat light. Additional skewers are priced at JPY 600-700, so it’s easy to end up ordering several. The grilling is meticulous, and many skewers have deliciously crispy skin. The oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) is highly recommended.
