Those that know me know that red meat wasn’t something my family ever ate. I didn’t even start tasting it until about 25. Coming to Japan and seeing the beef, and what they do with it, was a revelation. Here is a new restaurant with an excellent pedigree, @yakiniku_oboshimeshi. A great meal with strong French influences, a beautiful assortment of very different cuts all expertly grilled by chef right in front of you, and a nice wine cellar. One to watch, for sure.
