One thing I’ve really been missing is proper tempura. It just can’t survive takeout or delivery. Tonight I tried the new-to-me Tempura Ono in Hatchobori. I was super pleased with my meal. Excellent ingredients, with the kind of light and crispy batter I prefer. A good balance of vegetables and seafood, and many salads and sides between fried courses. The chef was extremely gregarious, and speaks perfect English as well. Highly recommended.
