This was the first Taiwanese chef to earn 3 Michelin stars… 🇹🇼

At The Epicure in Zurich, two stars resident chef Heiko Nieder and 3-star Kai Ho from Taiwan joined forces for a 4-hands dinner, an ambitious pairing of two very different worlds. On paper it promised fireworks, in reality it delivered a different kind of firework.

The desserts, a sad shadow of the finale you’d expect from 3 stars.

At 650 CHF (~699€), this was a pricey lesson in expectation vs. reality.
