What actually makes a great dinner? The food, the wine, the service, the company or the place?

At @vilajoya , I joined the celebration of Dieter Koschina’s @dieterkoschina 30 years with Michelin, where Europe’s top chefs cooked in his honor.

This night belonged to 2⭐️ @vincent_crepel , with a Harley & Koshi theme: part tribute, part rock & roll.

I arrived alone, as I often do, but left with new connections, because the fetish of food is universal, it connects strangers anywhere, from a döner in Istanbul to a 2-star meal by the Atlantic.

Exceptional dishes like roe deer with sauce Albufera, a thoughtful wine pairing (including a 15L red I somehow finished alone), and service as warm as the Algarve sunset.
