Mugyo-dong Bugeo-guk - Seoul (Korea)
One of my favorite breakfasts in Korea was my final one, at this local eatery that has been around for decades.
The place specializes in dried pollack soup (bugeo-guk), which I found extremely flavorful, with a complex broth and pieces of tofu that absorbed the richness like a sponge.
There was also a side of fried egg, rice and a spectacular set of banchan with a variety of kimchi and pickled vegetables (including @kimanica `s dear cucumber pickles).
The tiny fermented shrimps provided a very nice enhancement to the soup, and was probably the perfect condiment for such a pleasant meal.
