Casa Camilo - Belém (Brazil)

@casacamilo.oficial is a snack bar in Belém that serves a fantastic version of a local delicacy, unha de caranguejo.

This precious little fritter is similar in shape and form to the famous “”coxinha”. But instead of chicken, the filling is made with crab meat, creating a very unique and tasty bite.

The crab’s claw is placed on top of the snack giving it its name. For this reason, differently from the coxinha there is no debate on where one should start eating it from, as people have no choice but to bite the fatty base first.

Unha de Caranguejo is definitely another local treasure that should not be missed when visiting Pará, and I firmly suggest that you pick Casa Camilo to try it out.
