Saldosa Maloca - Ilha do Combu (Brazil)

A short boat ride to the other side of the river will lead you to Ilha do Combu.

This tropical paradise of an island offers a nice escape from the city. There you can also find @saldosamaloca, a nice restaurant by the riverside serving great fish and other local specialties.

The casual environment is perfect for spending a whole day eating good food, refreshing yourself in the water, enjoying the views and then repeating it all over again.

I particularly enjoyed the side of “Arroz Paraense”, a white rice dish cooked with jambu and tucupi.
