A collaboration restaurant between @goh_f and @gaggan_anand, @gohganfuk offers a blend of Japanese, French and Indian flavors in a fun and casual way. We opted for the omakase and while it was good value for money, I was expecting more Indian influences in the dishes - perhaps a la carte would be the better option here.
The omakase menu:
-Amuse-
Pani-Puri and yogurt sauce, Mentaiko and kale tart, Pettitoes and pear croquette, Shrimp keema curry bread
-Mousse-
Corn, Sea urchin, consomme jelly
Carpaccio-
Yellowtail from Oita,
Root vegetables, lemon and mustard sauce
- Goh-rimon-
“Hakata Torimon”, foie gras, persimmon
-Seasonal Fish-
Sea bream from Oita, albert sauce
-Meat of the Day-
Roasted Japanese beef from Saga, taro and truffle sauce
-Crab Curry with Rice-
Snow crab from Hokkaido, Coconuts cream
- Dessert-
Mont blanc
