Located north of Kitahama Station (the nearest station is Naniwabashi), this yakitori restaurant has been on my radar since I heard they switched to Takasaka chicken. I was fortunate to secure a rare reservation and finally visited.I opted for the Omakase course. For champagne, I ended up choosing a glass, but they had a wide selection of bottles with clear pricing. The glass I had was HENRIOT BRUT SOUVERAIN.To start, I was served grilled sesame tofu, which looked almost like grilled rice cakes (laughs). The first skewer was chicken breast, which had just the right amount of saltiness for my taste. The liver that followed was exquisite; it was the highlight of the day.In between skewers, I enjoyed a non-skewer chicken dish, and the back liver was delicious as well. The chicken breast with ume (plum) and grated daikon looked beautiful. It had a flavor profile that women would particularly enjoy. At this point, I could choose from the finishing options. There were four dishes available, and I ordered three of them, excluding the egg over rice.I truly believe that ramen from a great yakitori restaurant is something special. The additional skewers I had were also delicious, and I left feeling very satisfied.Thank you for the invitation!Credit card payments are accepted.⭐︎ Glass of champagne ◻︎ Appetizer Grilled sesame tofu ◼︎ Chicken breast ◼︎ Liver ◼︎ Neck ◻︎ Dish Mini okra wrapped in chicken breast with island shallot sauce ◼︎ Back liver ◼︎ Chicken wings ◻︎ Fried chicken ◼︎ Ginkgo nuts ⭐︎ Elderflower soda JPY 700 ◼︎ Harami (skirt) ◼︎ Chicken breast with ume and grated daikon ◼︎ Sorires (thigh root) Smoked ◼︎ Tsukune (chicken meatball) ◻︎ Soup ◼︎ Gizzards Additional ◼︎ Heart left Additional ◼︎ Saezuri (esophagus) right Additional ◼︎ Special Shio Ramen ◼︎ Takasaka Chicken Tempura Rice Ball ◼︎ Takasaka Chicken Oyakodon ◻︎ Dessert Lemon and yuzu granita with blueberries.
