(SWIPE FOR MORE PICS) This Chef Mauro Buffo of Ristorante 12 Apostoli in Verona. He looked like a scholar and his food was sophisticated and elegant in concepts, presentation, concepts and execution but I did not feel deprived after eating which happened often when having fine dining Italian. I particularly enjoyed the seafood at the beginning. Overall I enjoyed my experience at 12 Apostoli, it is holistic in the sense that both the food and decor struck a good balance of modern vs classics. No need for too much story telling, the thoughts are translated directly into food. I prefer this type of restaurants where the chefs speak loud with the food rather than speaking too much themselves ✨
