How it started... Warm foccacia draped in shaved butter and a Portland gin martini @drumlinshoreline. TGIF indeed. I failed to take pictures of the lamb albondigas and the pork chile verde, but you should not fail to order either one, if available.

The revamp of Drumlin in Shoreline by chef Zephyr Paquette is a welcome addition to dining options north of Seattle. It's a cozy, friendly cocktail den with great food. The spring menu is about to debut, but I hope the roasted carrots with maple yogurt, pomegranate molasses, and feta stick around. Ditto the beluga lentils with sausage, kale, and bacon, and the lemon pepper linguine with smoked salmon.
