The one restaurant that I try to visit every time in Shanghai is Fu 1015 #福1015 for its classic yet refined Shanghainese cuisine! There were two dishes that we specifically requested to try this time - the #醃篤鮮 (a classic Shanghainese soup made with winter bamboo shoots and a duo of cured and fresh pork) and #鰣魚 (a shad fish that is steamed with its scales intact to preserve the prized layer of fat under the scales) - and both were executed superbly. The one restaurant that I try to visit every time in Shanghai is Fu 1015 #福1015 for its classic yet refined Shanghainese cuisine! There were two dishes that we specifically requested to try this time - the #醃篤鮮 (a classic Shanghainese soup made with winter bamboo shoots and a duo of cured and fresh pork) and #鰣魚 (a shad fish that is steamed with its scales intact to preserve the prized layer of fat under the scales) - and both were executed superbly. Classics such as the smoked fish with sweet soy sauce, hairy crab roe on toasts, #馬蘭頭 and steamed rice with abalone, pork & black truffle were delightful as always. A huge thank you to Rianna and staff for the wonderful night with fantastic service and food!
