Dinner at @pasero.uk and @diamantis_kalogiannidis

It's my second time at Pasero in seven sisters, it's one of my favourite restaurants in London. Café during the day and pop-up kitchen in the evenings, they've had some amazing chefs in their kitchen.
And Diamantis Kalogiannidis is one of the best, cooking he's take on modern greek dishes, he's worked in some of the best kitchen's around Europe.
I loved his greek style sharing menu. This is what I ordered.....

☆ Spanakopita tartlet

☆ Barrel-Aged Feta Pie, Thyme, Honey, and Oregano

☆ Orkney scallop crudo, blood orange, seabuckthorn, fennel

☆ Mousakas Re-imagined: Slow-cooked beef shortrib, Aubergine Puree, Crispy Potato, Metsovone Cheese

☆ Rare Kariki Cheese, Preserved Quince

☆ Kataifi ice cream sandwich, walnuts, sweet spices, and honey

What a fantastic meal, every dish was absolutely stunning! The little tart was really fresh and delicious. The Orkney scallop crudo was stunning, probably my favourite dish of the evening. The feta pie was incredible, really nice, crispy pastry, sweet and herbal flavours went perfectly with the feta.
The re-imagined Mousakas was amazing. The slow cooked shortrib was delicious, beautiful smooth aubergine puree and crispy potato rosti with an incredible airy cheese sauce. The cheese course was amazing. It was the first time trying this rare cheese,
Similar to a blue cheese, aged in a greek pumkin, it was so smooth and tasty. And to finish the meal, the most beautiful ice cream sandwich I've ever eaten.
This was definitely one of the best meals I've had in London, i highly recommend you go check it out!!!!
