Straight off the Gatwick Express and just a short stroll from Victoria Station, @cornusrestaurant is the second project from David O’Connor and Joe Mercer-Nairne, the duo behind the much-loved Medlar in Chelsea. Here, they’ve created something altogether more refined and ambitious — a space where classic technique, precision and quiet confidence meet in the hands of chef Gary Foulkes, whose cooking is as assured and elegant as ever.
This is a restaurant built on experience, vision and craft — a team that knows exactly what they’re doing and executes it beautifully. One of my favourite A La Carte restaurants in London (tasting menu is also available)
