Recommended bowl: Kichijoji Jiro

Jiro-inspired shoyu tonkotsu ramen, with thick cut house-made noodles, and options for extras like veggies and garlic. Like many Jiro shops this one is quite popular, especially among students from nearby Seikei University. The bowls are fatty, salty, large, and cheap. This shop was previously run as Ramen Namarō, then it closed and reopened as Seikeimae Ramen in 2015. Only open for lunch, 11am-3:30pm.
